Part 4 Sole Proprietorship and Rural Contractor
Section 54 A sole proprietorship is a business legally filed and run by an individual. A sole proprietorship may have a trade name.
Section 55 A rural contractor is a rural community member who has been granted a specific rural leasehold land pursuant to law to conduct a family-owned contracting and business operation.
Section 56 A sole proprietorship's debt shall be assumed to the extent of an individual's property if only the individual has been running the business, or the family's property if it's a family-owned business or it's hard to tell whether it's a family-owned business.
A rural contractor's debt shall be assumed to the extent of the family property of the rural contractor who works for the rural land contracting and business operation. The debt shall be assumed to the extent of the part of the family members if only part of the family members is conducting the contracting and business operation.
